Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I use the drying cup?
Preferably every night. The complete routine is described in the guide How to properly dry your hearing aid.
Do I also need a drying capsule?
Yes. Without a capsule, the cup is just a storage box. The matching drying capsules are available individually; they are already included in the drying set.
Can I put rechargeable hearing aids in the cup?
Yes. Just make sure the battery is charged beforehand, as the cup does not charge.
Cup or electric drying box?
The cup dries slower and without UV-C, but it can be used anywhere and without electricity. If you sweat a lot or spend a lot of time outdoors, the PerfectDry Lux is a better choice.
Sustainable Shipping
The drying cup is a storage cup with a screw lid, in which your hearing aid gently dries overnight together with a drying capsule.
The simplest moisture protection for your hearing aid
Sweat, humidity and condensation are the most common causes of hearing aid repairs. The original Phonak Drying Cup solves this without electricity or technology: put the hearing aid in at night, close the lid, and you're done. The inserted drying capsule removes moisture from the air in the closed cup and thus also from your hearing system.
The cup is robust, lightweight and fits into any bedside table drawer or travel bag. It is the uncomplicated choice, especially when travelling, on holiday or as a second solution alongside an electric drying box. The matching drying capsules are available individually for repurchase. In the drying set, the cup and capsules are cheaper together.
