What is special about M&RIE?

A third microphone is located directly in the ear canal within the receiver. Your ear naturally captures sound, which leads to more spatial hearing and better understanding in noisy environments.

Does the M&RIE fit my device?

Only on ReSound Vivia and Nexia from technology level 4 and only if your audiologist has adapted the device for M&RIE. If your old receiver is an M&RIE, this one will fit as a replacement.

The SureFit 3 M&RIE is the Ex-receiver with an additional microphone in the ear for ReSound Vivia and Nexia from technology level 4, with a CeruStop filter system. Unlike conventional receivers, the M&RIE model has an integrated microphone directly in the ear canal.

Your advantage: The additional microphone utilizes the natural sound capture of your outer ear. The result is a particularly natural sound experience, better spatial orientation, and significantly reduced wind noise.

Important technical note: The M&RIE function can only be used if your hearing aid model explicitly supports this technology. The receiver must be precisely adjusted by a hearing care professional and activated in the fitting software to prevent feedback and ensure the full sound potential is realized.
