Which length do I need?
The length (00, 0, 1, 2 or 3) is always printed on the receiver. However, after prolonged wear, the numbers are often no longer legible, making it difficult to accurately determine the correct length from a distance. In this case, please send us a photo of your receiver by email or WhatsApp, and we will try to find it out together.
What do the strengths S, M and P mean?
The S, M and P classification exists for every manufacturer: S for mild, M for moderate and P for severe hearing loss. The strength is also printed on the receiver, but may also have become illegible. The good news: S, M and P receivers have different designs. So you can simply compare your receiver with the pictures here on the product page or send us a photo.
Does the SDS 6.0 fit my hearing aid?
Only on the new Phonak Infinio, Hansaton ERA and Unitron Smile platform (8-pin flat connector). For older platforms such as Lumity, Paradise or Marvel, you need the SDS 5.0.
Can I change the receiver myself?
Yes. Thanks to the push/pull connection system, you can pull the plug out of the hearing aid with a gentle tug on the cable and plug the new receiver back in the same way, without any tools. Which filter fits?
The SDS 6.0 uses CeruStop Cerumen filters. You can find them here in our shop.
