What length do I need?
The length (0 to 4) is always printed on the receiver. However, after prolonged wear, the numbers are often no longer legible, making it difficult to determine the correct length from a distance. In this case, feel free to send us a photo of your receiver by email or WhatsApp, and we will try to figure it out together.
What do the strengths S, M, and P mean?
The S, M, and P classification exists for every manufacturer: S for mild, M for moderate, and P for severe hearing loss. The strength is also printed on the receiver, but may also have become illegible. The good thing is that S, M, and P receivers have different designs. So you can simply compare your receiver with the pictures here on the product page or send us a photo.
How do I know if I need left or right?
You can identify the side by the color marking on the receiver: Red stands for right, Blue for left.
Can I replace the miniReceiver 2.0 myself?
Yes. With the Ex-Receiver Removal and Installation Tool, you can replace the receiver yourself in a few minutes. You can find a video guide in our Hearity Master-Knowledge Library.
How do I know if the receiver needs to be replaced?
Typical signs are intermittent sound and a quieter or distorted sound, even though the wax guard has just been changed. A kinked or damaged cable is also a reason for replacement. Find out more in the guide Defective Ex-Receiver.
