Application:
Dissolve one tablet in a cup with lukewarm water. Insert the earmold, dome or sound tube and let it soak for about 10 minutes, longer if heavily soiled. Then rinse with clear water and let it dry completely.

Important note:
Hearing aids, external receivers, rechargeable batteries, and batteries must not be immersed in water. Keep tablets out of reach of children and do not ingest them.

Can my hearing aid go into the water bath?

No. Only earmolds, domes, and sound tubes. Electronics and water do not mix. The correct care for the device itself is described in the guide Cleaning Your Hearing Aid.

How long does the tablet need to work?

Around 10 minutes is usually enough. If the cerumen is very dried out, simply leave the earmold in for longer.

Do I need a special cup?

The cleaning cup is the most practical because it seals tightly and has the right size. It is already included in the cleaning kit.

How often do I need a tablet?

About once a week. 20 tablets will last approximately five months.

Cerumen dissolves instead of you having to scrape it off

Dried earwax (cerumen) will eventually become impossible to remove from your earmold with just a brush and cloth. The original Phonak cleaning tablets, on the other hand, work chemically: dissolve one tablet in lukewarm water, insert the earmold, and let it soak briefly. Deposits dissolve, odors disappear, and the earpiece is hygienically clean again.

Important: Only earmolds, domes, and sound tubes belong in the water bath. The hearing aid itself, the receiver, and all electronic components stay out. The easiest way to use them is in the suitable cleaning cup, which is already included in the cleaning set.
