Application:
Fill the cup with lukewarm water and dissolve a cleaning tablet in it. Insert the earmold, dome or sound tube and leave for about 10 minutes, longer for heavy soiling. Then rinse with clear water and allow to dry completely.

Important note:
Hearing aids, external receivers, rechargeable batteries and batteries must not be put in water. Only earmolds, domes and sound tubes belong in the cup.

How do I dry the earmold afterward?

Rinse well and let it dry completely. You can remove the water from the sound tube with the drying spray or the drying puffer.

Earwax (cerumen) accumulates deep within the earpiece and sound tube over time. Wiping alone is no longer sufficient. In the Phonak Cleaning Cup, you place the earmold in water with a dissolved cleaning tablet. The deposits dissolve on their own, and you don't have to scrub the material.

Important: Only earmolds, domes, and tubes belong in the cup. The hearing aid itself, the receiver, and all electronic components must never be put in water. For daily care of the electronics, use cleaning wipes or the auriFIX cleaning spray.
